Regolatori di flusso luminoso Revetec SEC STB

In recent years, Ireland has become one of the countries where a drastic reduction in light pollution is being implemented: one of the most effective systems involves the use of voltage regulators. In July 2017, an important project on the M50 motorway was completed: one of the main road arteries in Ireland that runs from north to south of Dublin passing west of the Irish capital for a length of 45km.

The regulators present reduce the voltage on SAP lamps of different powers: 150W, 250W, 400W, 600W installed on the side of the carriageway and on lighting towers near the junctions.

The systems are switched on thanks to a twilight photocell and the electrical panels have a special signal light on the upper part which lights up in the event of a regulator by-pass.
The company that manages the plants, M50 Concession Ltd, is a Spanish company based in Madrid and part of the Globalvia group.
