Power controllers for energy saving in public lighting

Energy saving through Revetec power controllers is nowadays a well-established reality in Greece.

Several projects are proceeding within the Hellenic Peninsula: one of the most interesting reference is located in the municipality of Ptolemaida, now part of Eordaea, located in the suburb of West Macedonia. This area is highly industrialized and actually generating about 70% of the national electricity production.

Most public works were completed in December 2015, and involved the installation of five power controllers SEC STPi 11 and a regulator SEC STPi 16.

All regulators are currently set up with a "normalized C1 + C3" dimming cycle.

The project is currently being extended, and five more power controllers model SEC STPi 08 will soon dim and control additional N° 105 street lighting luminaires 100W SHP and N° 105 luminaires 70W SHP. In this case also a "Normalized C1 + C3” dimming cycle is being activated.
