Castel di Sangro: a region that invests in innovation
Castel di Sangro, the beating heart of the Alto Sangro area and a tourist destination par excellence, has chosen to embark on a decisive path towards energy modernisation, equipping itself with an advanced remote control system for public lighting.
The installation of the new remote control systems has enabled the municipality to monitor and manage the systems in a centralised, precise and completely remote manner.
Thanks to advanced modules, the system can now:
• automatically regulate switching on and off via internal astronomical clocks;
• optimise consumption, reducing waste and emissions;
• detect any anomalies and dispersions, activating alarms and targeted interventions;
• maintain active communication with the control centre even in the event of a temporary power failure, thanks to internal batteries dedicated solely to the transmission of critical events.
The presence of the MIX module further expands the monitoring and control functions, allowing the municipality to manage signals from the field, control equipment remotely and analyse parameters essential for the safety and proper functioning of the systems.
This is a virtuous example of how innovation and sustainability can coexist, enhancing the comfort of citizens and the reputation of the municipality as a modern, efficient and environmentally conscious entity.
