MOPA

The United Arab Emirates is a nation on the Arabian Peninsula, mostly facing the Persian Gulf. The country is a federation of seven emirates among them Abu Dhabi, the capital, and Dubai the most populous.

The country for years has been making major investments in services and roads, one of the latest in chronological order (2020) is a series of highways that cross the country from west to east (Wadi Al Ghor, E44 / E55 / E64) connecting Dubai with Hatta. The Ministry of Presidential Affairs (MOPA) coordinated by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI), has based this new infrastructure on energy conservation using LED technology, point-to-point remote control and adaptive lighting. The project includes more than 100 km of roads and about 7,000 LED luminaires.

FAI adaptive lighting (according to CEN 13201-3 standard) is based on the Revetec telemanagement system: n. 29 LTM sensors by detecting traffic, weather conditions and street luminance allow luminous flux control of the installed LED luminaires. N. 7.000 LPR NEMA nodes and N. 20 gateways allow, in addition to luminous flux control, monitoring of energy consumption and reporting of any problems on the lighting points.
Thanks to adaptive lighting, energy savings greater than 55% are guaranteed with related Co2 reduction.
The Maestro+Maestro web software is installed in the control center that allows complete remote management of the system, the software database was populated directly by technicians during installations through the use of the Hyperdroid APP.
