Single light point remote control system and luminance sensor

ACKGROUND

Installation has been done in 2006 and 2007.
ANAS (Italian State Road Authority) wanted to supply a better and more efficient lighting, together with a reduced energy consumption and remote control of installations.

SOLUTION

The specific critical point was that all works had to be done while Highway is operating, therefore special precautions to prevent accidents and traffic jams.
Renovation of lighting has been performed for:

• 6 exits
• 12 km of highway, close to Palermo
• 5 tunnels
