MM Module (Maia Master)

The MAIA MM module is essentially intelligence in the field and acts as a gateway for the communication nodes (MAIA MS module) on board the lighting devices.

It contains an illumination probe that constantly measures the illuminance value [lux] present in the area in which it is installed. On the basis of what was measured, the system processes and sends, in real time, a radio-frequency command (2.4 GHz) to the MAIA MS module (receiver node) housed inside the luminaire.

The installation of the device includes a power supply (230Vac) and the positioning in a central area with respect to the group of light points that it will manage. During installation, a number from 0 to 16 must be selected by manual switch in order to determine the identification group in order to be able to easily associate the MAIA MS modules (receiver node).

The module generates a local WiFi network to which you can connect with your mobile device (smartphone, tablet ...) and through the use of a dedicated APP, to set the parameterization of the system.

The SW, developed for system management, allows the daily or weekly programming of lighting levels to be guaranteed in the MAIA MS module installation area.

Once the simple programming has been carried out, the system works autonomously.

The system allows, through an activation command (push button), to activate an "event" scenario that replaces the "time programming" for a time defined in the programming phase by the APP.

It is also possible to force the dimming percentage of the lighting bodies using a manual potentiometer. This function remains active until the potentiometer is deactivated, setting it to the "0" position.
