Module for monitoring and dimming a single lamp with power line
LPL04 IP66 allows to remotely both dim and switch on and off a single luminaire LED. This is a version with IP65 protection degree. Very similar to LPL04 IP20 module, it also enables remote diagnostics and remote reading of the measures from the control center.
Comparable to LPL04 IP20, LPL04 IP66 has an either digital addressable lighting interface or 1÷10 VDC output.
The node has been designed to be installed outside the luminaire, i.e. into the poles inspection hole, and,externally onto the poles surface, either if there is no space in the lighting fixture or to comply with distinct supply of the luminaire than the remote management module.
It is important to remember that LPL04 IP66 must be connected to the lighting fixture with a 4-conductor cable, two for power and two for the dimming control. The control cables length must not exceed 10 metres.
All LPL modules have the LPL/V software inside: LPL can therefore be programmed in such a way to follow input voltage variations. In this specific operational mode, output to control LED light is varied according to input voltage. This characteristic is very useful when LED are installed where a Power Controller is working on the same line. The Power Controller will be able to dim both the LEDs and the HID lamps eventually installed by varying the voltage of the plant. In this application, LPM is not necessary.
The LPL04 IP66 module is suitable for appliances up to 495W.
